Elizabeth is an avid reader, writer, and adventurer who is best described as being a blend of her characters. Whether it’s traveling to a new place, trying a new recipe, or writing a new story, she approaches everything openly and with a notebook. She has woven her real life experiences, the people she has met, places she has been, and even recipes she has created (somewhere on this site is a brownie recipe), into her heart and her stories having written over 250 of them… most of them can be found (lightly edited*) on this site.
She has been writing short stories since she was eight years old. Her first short story was called “The Freckled Flower.” If anyone finds the only living copy, please let her know – she never got to finish it before she lost it.
Elizabeth’s fiction is filled with suspense, romance, and enough thrills to keep the pages turning in anticipation for the next surprise. With success nipping at her heels, Elizabeth has had one non-fiction piece – Unplugging (2020) in SCN Magazine, and two fictional short stories published – Obsessive Compulsive (2013) in Suspense Magazine, Pumpkin Pie (2019) in Avescope Magazine.
To date, Elizabeth has one completed novel that she is actively querying while finishing her second and third novels. Every month, she releases an exclusive short story exclusively through her newsletter: sign up here! She also hosts a podcast “No One is Safe” which focuses on book reviews, inspirations for writing, and her current life journey (always an adventure in and of itself). She can’t wait for her novels to line shelves at bookstores and libraries alike.
Her favorite books include:
- Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
- Birdman, The Treatment, The Walking Man Series, and Hanging Hill by Mo Hayder
- It and Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
- Who Censored Roger Rabbit by Gary K. Wolf
- Love in the Time of Serial Killers & With Love, From Cold World by Alicia Thompson
- The Mindf*ck Series by S T Abby
- Dracula by Bram Stoker
- and countless others
While the characters, plot twists, horrors, and thrills that create these shocking stories are all fiction, inspiration comes from real life and as the hashtag & the podcast suggest, no one is safe 🙂
A note from the author:
Thank you for being here, especially if you made it this far down the page. I love writing just as much as I love reading. Both are something I’m passionate about sharing with the world. Please consider signing up for the newsletter, following me on the social sites, or sharing my website with someone who you think would enjoy my work.
Shockingly yours,
Elizabeth

I have only just started reading your stories. I started with the first ones and am going in order. Your writing is rather macabre. I love it! Keep up the good work!
